With plenty of attention surrounding the next generation consoles, namely the PlayStation 4 in this case, reports about Sony’s PS Vita seemed to have died down. Many gamers were under the impression the Vita was designed with the forecast of the new PS4 and were expecting a large amount of reports concerning bundle offers for both consoles, as well as reasonable prices. Well according to a report on VG24/7 the PS4 and PS Vita bundle has been confirmed and will drop this side of Christmas, although we are still in the dark about the price. Bundles could be a great way to introduce gamers to both systems and we are expecting some attractive offers to entice gamers and introduce a larger user base. Regarded as the “Ultimate Bundle,” Sony has confirmed the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita will be sold together in time for this year’s festivities and according to reports, Sony’s handheld will also receive a £2.5 million marketing campaign. The new advert titled, ‘The Best Way to Play’ will promote the Vita’s connectivity with Sony’s next-gen PS4, as well as Media Molecule’s release Tearaway. In addition, Sony’s senior product manager Ben Law has commented about being really excited for the Vita in the build-up to Christmas, with a great campaign highlighting the Remote Play service and an ever-growing game catalogue including releases like Tearaway. Even though we are intrigued whether to ask our readers whether the Ultimate Bundle is an enticing prospect, we sort of expected this with the launch of the PS4, therefore we are interested to know what sort of price range you think the Ultimate Bundle should retail for? We would love to know any realistic answers in the comments section below.
